Gas Service Restored
1/17/2025
A big thank you to Atmos Energy for their hard work & long hours put in to restore gas service to the City of Bazine. There were a few households where they were unable to contact anyone. If this was your residence, a door hanger was left. Call the number provided & someone will be there ASAP to reconnect your service & get your heat going. They left someone here locally for the weekend to take care of this.
Gas service update 10:15 AM 1-17-25

If you know when you will be home, text or call me at (785) 398-1260 and I will let them know. Gas Line Damaged
1/16/2025
A main gas line has been damaged by construction crew. Atmos Energy crews are in route to repair the damage as soon as possible. Gas service has had to be shut off to the whole city of Bazine. Try to keep doors and windows to your homes shut as much as possible to retain the heat in your home. Service will probably not be restored until later tonight or tomorrow. As soon as it is restored, crews will come around to homes to see if you need them to relight your appliances or furnace. I will try to keep you posted with news on this website or the City of Bazine FaceBook page as I receive news from Atmos. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Think Atmos crews will be quitting for the night about midnight. But sounds like they plan to be back by around 6 am to try & catch as many of you as they can before you go to work. Sorry if they haven't got your service back on but they are working as quickly as possible.
