Building Permits & Inspections

Building Permits are required when you are adding a new structure or doing notable upgrades to an existing structure. There is no charge for the permit. Certain requirements are needed to be met when construction is in the Floodplain. Please contact City Clerk for more information.

A Permit is also required for putting up fences. Please refer to Section from Code Book below. Again, no fee for the permit.

To obtain a permit for both residential and commercial uses, simply give us a call and we will be happy to provide you with the necessary forms.
